BELMONT PRIMARY SCHOOL
Learn, Enjoy, Develop
Library
Our well-equipped library is a great resource for students. The library is a place where students’ Love of Reading and Life Long Learning is encouraged and supported through programs such as West Australian Young Reader Book Awards, Australian Book Week and the Premiers Reading Challenge with thought provoking displays and activities run throughout the year.
Pre-Primary through to Year 6 students have access to loan books each week, all books are expected to be returned each week. Library bags are a MUST to protect books from damage or loss.
Volunteers are always welcome to assist with the large volume of books to cover. Please contact the school office or email leanne.daniels@education.wa.edu.au if you can help.

Scholastic Book Club

Our school runs the Scholastic Book Club for parents and students to purchase books. Generally, two catalogues per term will be sent home with students however they are also available online to view at scholastic.com.au. These catalogues are a great free resource to teach children about money and budgeting as well as encourage reading. Every purchase you make will earn points for the school to utilise when purchasing new resources.

Orders must be submitted through the scholastic platform LOOP. To register follow the link scholastic.com.au/LOOP or download the app.
